In the Garden Shop & Cutting Garden at Petersham Nurseries …

Tender, tropical houseplants inside the Garden Shop and elsewhere, early perennials, bulbs, flowering shrubs and spring colour. A few, random, images from Petersham Nurseries last week. We've had glorious sunshine (well, yesterday at least), so expecting the Cutting Garden to be even more verdant, more colourful and probably about a foot taller too. We're about…

The RHS Spring Show – London

Just a few bits and bobs from the Spring Plant Fair this past Friday, twinned as it was with the spectacular Orchid Show in the adjacent Hall. A little blur of a tour of the Nurseries on a fine May day - stuffed full of plants inside and out and a day of bright welcome sunshine too. Captions and plant names to follow - rush rush!

A Cutting Garden with Tulips in abundance, Fritillaries both imperial & persica, the first Roses, Hawthorn, Camellias, still, cherry blossom, still, spicy Wisteria, chartreuse Euphorbia, a country churchyard and an old deer park – plus a cow or two … tales from Petersham Nurseries
