The Teddington Gardener

Swan-necked, knobby, two-toned, ribbed and finned, smooth, round, flecked – a gourd-fest for it’s nearly Halloween

Just a little seasonal fun for the day before Halloween – an amazing and slightly disturbing (in one or two cases at least) collection of ornamental gourds. These will last for months upon months & decorate the house now right through until summer next year, perhaps longer. Happy Halloween!

For those with more traditional tastes, there’s a pumpkin carver resident at Petersham Nurseries between 11am and 3pm and, for a donation to charity Action against Hunger, you can probably take one of the finished articles home with you. You can certainly enjoy the skill and imagination of a true pumpkin artiste! See for more details.
