An afternoon wander through the woodland, wetland, water gardens and wildflower meadows at Wakehurst Place, Kew in the Country (and National Trust too, but the parking is only free to Friends of Kew.. a big issue, this…)
There is much, much more to see here within the greater parkland and more formal gardens at Wakehurst Place but we kept to the more watery and/or wilder parts this time around. A taster then, with my recommendations to plan a day-trip, picnic and an invitation to explore further.
and this, my favourite sign…

I am SOOO clearly on the wrong side of The Pond…. ! Gorgeous doesn’t even begin to describe it; thanks so much for the armchair, err, computer chair tour!
