Firstly a few from home this evening - I'm particularly pleased with the lilies in the front garden, wafting their intoxicating fragrance for weeks now - and the bright blue Campanula Blue Octopus, flowering for over a month. Five pictures to brighten a wet Monday… cosmos, sunflowers, violas, zinnias in orbit – and Thug, the Petersham Cat….
The cosmos are still floating around at head height, self-supporting and with ferny-filmy foliage - they have just kept on going and going this season with more to come... Likewise the sunflowers have had a great season, though their flower power is slowing down and much seed is being set. The zinnias, another late season…

Cosmos Chocamocha A new-ish form of the favourite chocolate-scented, late-summer flowering Cosmos atrosanguineus... with even more chocolately aroma, velvety bronze-red flowers and all a little more compact, so less need for staking. It will flower, in full sun, from June to September and grow to a height of 45cm. A great companion for other late-flowering…
