Petersham Nurseries and a 10th Birthday Party, Roses everywhere including Mottisfont Abbey and Waterperry Gardens, climbing the Pagoda at Kew Gardens, a Twickenham Wild Flower Meadow and some of my own projects. Once again, a glorious month!

Kew Gardens, Auriculas, Paeonies, Chelsea Fringe and a brief call in at the Chelsea Flower Show, more roses, much at Petersham Nurseries, Wild Food foraging with Claudio Bincoletto, the Joy of Composting... another glorious month!

Acer griseum, lauded for its peeling bark, caught here in the chill morning sunlight on the slopes of Battleston Hill at the RHS gardens at Wisley. The gardens feature the remnants of many fine plants, dying beautifully, hydrangeas foremost in this class, as well as the heralds of a new season, with the earliest hellebores…
