A long-awaited visit to this specialist Lavender nursery in Kent, a little to the north of Tonbridge. I’ll see their exquisite stand at the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show next month (they won Gold at both Chelsea and Hampton Court last year), deservedly so. Such variety, superbly grown, fragrant, buzzing with bees and other pollinators. With such a world-class reputation, and links to universities and other institutions, with a raft of medals going back to the nurseries inception in 1991, it was a treat to visit.
Their website is a treat to visit too, with plenty of information and guides to the hardy English varieties, the French, half-hardy and tender species too, growing guides and videos, pruning information – it is well worth taking a closer look.
