There may be daffodils blooming merrily away in gardens near here, but these snowdrops seem a tad more festive and season-appropriate for a time when there are just 4 nights until Christmas. I’ve published them before and did consider using them for my cards this year though I chose something a little more classic – single snowdrops and a Hellebore niger.
Those images I’ll post soon – a Christmas Card to every one who has looked in on The Teddington Gardener over the past twelve months and for you time and comments throughout the year.
In the meantime I’ll leave you with this Galanthus nivalis Flore Pleno, set against the colourful backdrop of a number of the tables in the Teahouse at Petersham Nurseries….
Wow, those blooms (and your photos) are superb. I love snowdrops but they don’t grow well here. Thanks for sharing yours! Happy Christmas!
Wow. These are stunningly beautiful pics (just like the ones you post all year long). Thank you for so much pleasure and education.
Would it be possible to add a few pics of the holiday decorations and displays at Petersham Nursery? Unfortunately, I can’t visit in person anytime soon but it seems like a wonderful place.
Happy New Year and Happy Gardening Year. KM
