Such intense colours, on a plant that could go on flowering right through until next spring – unfazed by much that a typical winter can throw at it.
- Deadhead regularly
- keep in a sunny spot (but remember they don’t like too much heat)
- trim back if the plant gets too leggy
- watch out for slugs and snails
- provide water and
- a regular liquid feed and
that’s the next few months of colour sorted!
If using in containers, include some bulb beneath the pansies, to extend the season of interest next year, as narcissi and muscari for example, grow up through the foliage and flowers.
